Are you a creative and technically strong Mechanical Engineer who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges?

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to play a key role in the development of innovative products and technologies, leading projects from concept through to delivery while mentoring and supporting the wider engineering team.

This is an opportunity to work on challenging, technically diverse projects where you'll have a real impact on product development, engineering standards, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role would particularly suit an engineer with experience working on multidisciplinary products, including the integration of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading complex R&D and product development projects

• Driving innovative engineering solutions to solve industry challenges

• Leading and supporting design activities, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail

• Reviewing and approving engineering drawings, ensuring compliance with relevant standards

• Contributing to quality management and continuous improvement initiatives

• Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams across the business

• Providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers

• Supporting project planning, delivery, and stakeholder management

What We're Looking For

• Significant experience in mechanical design and product development

• Strong understanding and practical application of GD&T for both prototype and production environments

• Experience working across disciplines beyond pure mechanical engineering, such as Hydraulics, Test & Development, Control Systems, Electrical/Electronic Systems, and Integrated Engineering Projects

• Exposure to PCB design, packaging, integration, or electromechanical product development would be advantageous

• Proven ability to lead engineering projects and design teams

• Experience mentoring and developing engineers

• Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach to engineering challenges

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Project management experience with the ability to balance technical and commercial priorities
