Multi Trade Operative – Guildford & Surrounding Areas\n\nWe are looking for skilled and adaptable Multi Trade Operatives to join our team supporting a long-term housing maintenance contract across Guildford and the surrounding locations.\n\nAs a specialist in property maintenance and refurbishment services, we work with housing providers and public sector organisations to deliver reliable repairs, improvements and compliance services that help create safe, well-maintained homes for residents.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will be responsible for completing a variety of responsive repairs and maintenance tasks within occupied residential properties. The role requires a customer-focused approach, strong trade skills and the ability to complete high-quality work efficiently.\n\nYou will have access to digital tools and support systems designed to help manage your workload and provide everything needed to deliver an excellent service.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Complete plastering repairs and associated works to a high standard\n\n * \n\n Carry out plumbing repairs and small installations where required\n\n * \n\n Undertake carpentry, joinery and general repair tasks\n\n * \n\n Complete a range of multi-skilled maintenance activities within residential properties\n\n * \n\n Work independently while also contributing positively as part of a wider team\n\n * \n\n Maintain high standards of health and safety, workmanship and customer care\n\n * \n\n Diagnose issues and provide effective repair solutions\n\nAbout You\n\nThe ideal candidate will have:\n\n * \n\n Strong plastering experience, ideally supported by an NVQ Level 2 qualification\n\n * \n\n Experience across additional trades such as plumbing and carpentry\n\n * \n\n The ability to identify faults and complete repairs effectively\n\n * \n\n A practical approach with good attention to detail\n\n * \n\n Previous experience working in occupied/tenanted properties\n\n * \n\n Confidence using handheld technology or PDA systems\n\n * \n\n Relevant trade qualifications (NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 minimum preferred)\n\n * \n\n A full, valid UK driving licence\n\n * \n\n The ability to pass a DBS check\n\n * \n\n Proof of eligibility to work in the UK\n\n * \n\n A professional attitude with excellent customer service skills\n\nWhat’s Included\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary up to £40,660 depending on experience\n\n * \n\n Company van and fuel card for business use\n\n * \n\n Pension scheme and life assurance\n\n * \n\n 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays\n\n * \n\n Employee benefits package including discounts, offers and rewards\n\n * \n\n One paid volunteering day per year\n\n * \n\n Training, career development and progression opportunities\n\nSimply apply to be considered for the role
