Interior designer for Hospitality

This is a full-time, on-site role in Nottingham for an Interior Designer specializing in hospitality design. The role involves crafting creative design concepts, space planning, and developing interior layouts tailored to the needs of hospitality projects. Day-to-day tasks include creating detailed construction drawings, collaborating with architects and contractors, selecting and procuring FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet the client’s expectations. The role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to effectively communicate design ideas within a team and with clients.

• Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design with a focus on creating functional hospitality spaces
• Experience in Architecture and translating conceptual designs into practical applications
• Strong proficiency in preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings to align with project specifications
• Knowledge of FF&E selection, sourcing, and procurement to fit client requirements and project budgets
• Excellent project management, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment as well as independently
• Understanding of hospitality industry trends and requirements is an advantage
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools is highly desirable
